Intensive Outpatient Program
Structured Support While You Continue Your Daily Life
An intensive outpatient program offers more structure and support than standard outpatient counseling, without requiring a residential stay. At NorthStar, IOP is designed for adults who need a higher level of care but want to continue living at home, going to work, or meeting family responsibilities.
IOP sessions typically meet multiple times per week for several hours at a time. The schedule is structured, but it’s built to fit alongside your life outside of treatment.
