Care That Meets You Where You Are
Everyone faces moments when life feels overwhelming, and emotional health can shift for many different reasons. If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or other challenges, you deserve support that helps you feel understood and grounded. You don’t have to sort through it on your own.
NorthStar Behavioral Health offers outpatient mental health care in Cincinnati that meets you where you are. Our licensed counselors, psychologists, and psychiatric professionals take time to listen, learn about your experiences, and understand what matters to you. Together, we shape each session around your questions, your story, and your goals, so you can take your next step with confidence and support.
Our Mental Health Services
NorthStar offers four connected services under our mental health program. Each one can be part of your treatment plan based on your individual needs.
- Psychological Evaluations: A psychological evaluation helps clarify what you are experiencing so we can provide you with the right kind of support. It can be used for treatment planning, school or workplace accommodations, diagnostic clarification, or simply gaining insight.
- Outpatient Counseling: Outpatient counseling is helpful for anyone who wants support with emotional health, relationship challenges, or life transitions. It’s a way to get consistent, professional care while staying connected to your everyday life.
- Adolescent Program: Adolescence is a time of rapid emotional, social, and physical change. Counseling gives teens a steady place to process those changes, build confidence, and learn how to navigate life with resilience.
- Medication Management: Medication can be one tool among many, to support managing conditions like anxiety, depression, mood disorders, or attention‑related challenges. Medication management ensures that if medication is used, it’s used thoughtfully, safely, and in a way that aligns with the person’s goals.
