Why The New Name?

NorthStar Giving Circle

NorthStar Giving Circle

The NorthStar Giving Circle is a community of donors who give at a level that helps sustain and grow the work we do. As a member, your annual gift directly expands our ability to serve more people, strengthen our programs, and reach deeper into the communities that need us.

How to Join

You can join the NorthStar Giving Circle by making an annual gift at one of the levels below. Membership is recognized each year and includes updates on our work, recognition for your generosity, and opportunities to see the impact of your support up close.

Giving Circle Levels

Aquila | $1,000 – $2,499

In Greek, Aquila means eagle. When eagles encounter a storm, they don’t retreat. They fly directly into it, using their wingspan to rise above the turbulence. Aquila-level donors take our clients under their wing, acknowledging the challenges ahead and supporting them as they rise.

Lyra | $2,500 – $4,999

Lyra takes its name from the harp of Greek mythology, an instrument known for softening hearts and revealing beauty in difficult moments. Though Lyra is one of the smallest constellations in the sky, it contains one of the brightest stars. Lyra-level donors represent the same truth: that gentle, consistent generosity creates extraordinary impact.

Orion | $5,000 – $7,499

Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky. In Greek mythology, Orion represents strength, confidence, and ambition balanced with humility. Orion-level donors carry that same spirit, standing boldly behind our mission and the people it serves.

Centaurus | $7,500 - $9,999

Known for wisdom, knowledge, healing, and compassion. Centaurus was wise, gentle, and skilled in medicine.

Ursa Major | $10,000+

Ursa Major represents protection, guidance, resilience, and transformation. This constellation is also known as the Big Dipper, and it has been used for centuries to find Polaris, the North Star. Ursa Major donors are the guiding force behind our work. Their generosity helps others find direction, and their commitment lights the way toward lasting recovery.

Founding Members

We are proud to recognize our Founding Members of the NorthStar Giving Circle, whose leadership and generosity helped launch this initiative.
