Chaney Allen Women's Continuum of Care

NorthStar’s women’s residential treatment program provides 24-hour care in a structured, supportive setting. The Chaney Allen Women’s Continuum of Care is designed for women living with substance use challenges, especially those with dependent children and women of childbearing age. Pregnant women are given priority for admission.

The typical stay is around 65 days, though the length of treatment is individualized for each client. Care begins with a thorough assessment, and your treatment team will recommend the right level of support based on your needs.

What This Program Offers

The Chaney Allen program addresses substance use alongside the challenges that often come with it. Services are shaped around you and may include:

NorthStar works closely with Hamilton County Job and Family Services, the Hamilton County Justice Center, Probation and Parole, University of Cincinnati Psychiatric Emergency Services, housing agencies, and other community organizations to help connect women with the resources they need during and after treatment.
